    Arid Adaptations Nursery
Founded in 2012, Arid Adaptations is a local nursery specializing in cactus, succulents and caudiciforms. We also feature many plants that are frost and heat hardy--ideal for Arizona landscapes.

We have been growing plants in Tucson since 1992. The last ten years were at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum as a horticulturist in the botany department. As our personal plant collection began growing out of hand, it became obvious that a nursery was the only answer. With six greenhouses, 50,000 plants, lots of dogs, 15 chickens, turtles, and great landscaping we have a wonderful oasis in the desert.
Arid Adaptations also offers consultation, potted installations and design services.
    Bookmans
Bookmans Entertainment Exchange buys, sells and trades used books, music, movies, video games & musical instruments. Our sports exchange location deals with all things sports and activity related.

Bookmans Entertainment Exchange built our reputation on the concept that "used" is not a dirty word. With six stores in Tucson, Mesa, Phoenix and Flagstaff, Bookmans relies on our customers for what we sell, including books, music, movies, video games and systems, magazines, comics, electronics, tchotchkes and musical instruments, to list a few. We regularly host in-store events ranging from art exhibits, musical performances and anime festivals to reptile adoptions, yoga classes and yo-yo workshops. Stepping into Bookmans alters your view of what buying used is and should be. Our philosophy of DIY creativity, integrity, and community involvement has made us one of Arizona's most loved stores.

    Buy, trade and sell clothing.

In 1974 Kerstin and Spencer Block opened the first Buffalo Exchange in Tucson, Arizona. Kerstin, hailing from Sweden, thought the word “Buffalo” sounded very American, and since they were introducing the idea of a fashionable clothing “Exchange,” the name was born.
In the forty years since, that 450 square foot store near the University of Arizona has blossomed into 48 stores in 18 states. Buffalo Exchange continues to be run by Kerstin and her daughter Rebecca, and is still headquartered in Tucson.

Buffalo Exchange works to protect the environment by reusing and recycling clothing. Customers buy, sell, and trade clothing, giving it a second life and avoiding contributing to the demand and waste of clothing pollution. We are committed to supporting the communities and environments in which we operate by having environmentally conscious practices and giving charitable contributions.
    Skarsgard Farms
Skarsgard Farms is a locally owned and operated farm and delivery service, offering free home delivery in select areas and many pickup locations throughout New Mexico, Tucson, Phoenix and El Paso. We offer organic produce, natural meats, local dairy and eggs, fresh baked goods, and much more, delivered right to your doorstep! Visit our website for more info!

We work within a regional network of small, organic farms and culinary artisans in the Southwest area, sourcing locally as often as possible.
While we are able to grow some things year-round here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, we are not able to grow all of the things we love to have in our kitchens and on our tables.
Working within this regional network allows us to distribute foods grown all over the Southwest so that we can all share our bounty with our desert-dwelling neighbors.
