    Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant
Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant opened in October 1972 and is still operated by the original family owners. Portions of the main dining room and private dining rooms date back to the 1860s when Arizona was still a Territory.

The oldest parts of the building feature original two foot thick walls made of adobe (mud and straw) which was a popular building material of the 1800s. An antique cut glass chandelier in the bar is from an old French mansion in Mexico City, as is the Art Nouveau statue of Cleopatra, which is our trademark. A tall display cabinet was used in 1880 as a legal bookcase in Hermosillo, Sonora. The beautiful Steinway piano is a centennial piano, made in 1876.
Featuring weekly Jazz nights, Cushing Street is a great place to unwind and enjoy a good meal. Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant features comfortable garden patio dining in a very charming courtyard setting reminiscent of old Mexico.

    San Xavier Co-op Farm
The San Xavier Co-Op Farm is committed to healthy farming practices and growing traditional crops to support the cultural and environmental values of its community. Presently the Farm produces quality, chemical-free alfalfa hay and some traditional crops such as tepary beans, 60-day corn, squash, peas, chilies, devil’s claw and mesquite flour. The Co-Op Farm is a tribally chartered organization of allottee landowners on the San Xavier Indian Reservation. The sale of our product and produce support the revival of traditional foods for the Tohono O’odham People.

The San Xavier Cooperative Association envisions a farm committed to sustainable farming practices that support economic development in the community. Visit our farm store.

The logo for the San Xavier Co-op Farm was designed by Clifford Pablo, an allottee, one of the founders of the Cooperative and the first farm manager. The logo is a shield with a traditional planting stick and feathers for blessing. The central sprouting seed, "New Life" is surrounded by our native seed varieties of beans, corn, melon and squash. The four sections stand for the four directions and the four seasons which contain the cycles of the sun, rain, moon and wildlife. The birds and bugs are also symbols of destructive and helpful natural forces. The balance of all these elements is what brings success to the seeding and the farm.
