    Civano Nursery
Civano Nursery is a family owned and operated business.

Civano Nursery has been open since 1999 and we have gone through a lot of changes over the years. Running a business can be a challenge, but it has been one that we have enjoyed every step of the way. Now gone from single, to married, to driving kids in a minivan! Life has taught me the importance of having a place that you can shop at that has a little something for everyone. That’s why we have a play area for the little ones, a putting green for the older ones and an abundance of plants for the avid gardener. If you don’t feel like digging a hole, no problem! We can design it, deliver it, and plant it for you.

The majority of the plants found at our garden center have been grown by my younger brother Nick at our 70 acre Sahuarita farm. He really has a passion for plants, and it shows in the quality and variety of plants that he chooses for each season. He has propagated some great new trees for smaller spaces: the Leslie Roy Mesquite (named after Dad), The Sweet Katie Burgundy Desert Willow (named after Nick’s wife), and The Doris D Willow Acacia (named after Mom).

How did we get here? Well, it all started with our Dad Les Shipley, who taught us the value of a hard day’s work and the joy of growing plants. At a very young age my brothers and I could be found running through the greenhouses or potting up plants. We’ve just always been exposed to agriculture and the joy of growing plants. Now it’s our turn to pass it down to our children and teach them what our father taught us. That’s why we strive to provide a family atmosphere that enlightens, inspires, and ultimately guides you to a successful garden.

The Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market is a project of the Rincon Institute, a non-profit organization that works to integrate community and conservation throughout the Rincon, Vail, and Tanque Verde valleys.
The Rincon Institute's mission is to protect the natural resources of the Rincon Mountain District of Saguaro National Park, the Rincon Valley and the Cienega Corridor.

The Market helps preserve the rural cultural heritage of our area by giving southern Arizona farmers a market for their goods, which helps preserve open space by keeping small farms in business, and offering an important community gathering. The market prides itself on providing local products, supporting local artisans and farmers, and partnering with the community. Supporting locally grown foods and locally produced crafts reduces the amount of non-renewable resources used in transporting non-local goods. Reducing the amount of energy we require supports environmental sustainability and overall protection of sensitive resources. The RVFM helps maintain the rural character of the Rincon Valley while supporting local artisans and farmers which makes it a natural fit for a conservation organization like the Rincon Institute.

Our family has been roasting and brewing coffee since 1551. Savaya provides a coffee experience like no other and our heritage is a fact we take great pride in.

Savaya Coffee Market is the expression of a joy for coffee coupled with a rich family history in coffee.

Our coffee and coffee markets are a celebration of community. We select only the freshest organic beans and ingredients to lend to health and happiness of body, mind and spirit. All of our beans are purchased honorably, often times more than fair trade. From coffee regions all over the world, we precision roast in the USA, where we roast, package and prepare our menu items with love. You are invited to be a Savayan: communing over fresh, organic coffee daily, drinking high quality coffee beverages and continuously exploring coffee, one of the world’s favorite beverages.

Our flagship store has a beginning as organic as our coffee. Growing up with his grandmother’s coffee - fresh roasted to taste - owner and visionary, Burc Maruflu, has developed a fine palate. Unable to find coffee like his grandmother’s in Tucson, he purchased a “Savaya green” roaster and found a space for its home in Williams Centre Plaza.
We are Arizona's first and only ice cream pasteurizers. Although there is a science to our process, we keep it simple by using whole and natural ingredients mixed with milk and cream from grass fed cows. We believe that ice cream shouldn't contain ingredients that you can't pronounce. We use a five step process to create a one-of-a-kind ice cream.
    Sentinel Peak Brewing Company
To provide a constant variety of exceptional, hand-crafted beers in a casual setting where families, friends, and neighbors experience consistent quality and engage in worthwhile conversation.
Sentinel Peak Brewing Company is a 3 BBL (that’s 90 gallons at a time!) nanobrewery offering a rotating selection of craft beers along with a few house favorites. Our inspiration comes from many sources including, but not limited to, travels we’ve had and suggestions from friends.

We are proud members of the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild.

Sentinel Peak Brewing Company opened its doors on January 9, 2014, but the story began long before that. Twenty-two years before to be precise. In the early 90s co-owner Jeremy Hilderbrand was stationed in Germany with the US Army as a Russian linguist. Here he fell in love with the flavors and culture of German beer. However, it wasn’t until many years later when his wife bought him a home brew kit that Jeremy was able to reignite his love for craft beer. Jeremy, who continues to work full-time as a Fire Captain, soon discovered his beers were a huge hit with friends and family. That’s when the embers of opening a brewery really started to kindle. But all too soon Jeremy realized that brewing on a commercial level would be impossible given his firefighter’s budget. So he sought out the help of Engineer/Firefighter Matt Gordon.
Sierra Bonita Vineyards and Tasting Room
Sierra Bonita Vineyards, named for our location adjacent to the historic Sierra Bonita ranch established in 1872, is strictly a family affair. Three generations of our family tend the vines. We are located 22 miles northwest of Willcox, Arizona at an elevation of 4,300 feet in a beautiful and rich agricultural valley.

In January 2011 we released our first wines to the public—150 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 120 cases of Syrah. The 11-acre vineyard was first planted in 1997 and we continue to add new vines. In 2009 we built our winery where we can process the grapes as soon as they are harvested—pesticide free, returning all cuttings and skins to the vineyards, fostering a sustainable and eco-friendly vineyard.

Please visit our tasting room:Tasting Room. It is conveniently located on Camino Principal at the entrance to the Tucson Country Club. We hope to see you there!

Our elevation creates warm days and cool nights—perfect for growing the varieties we have chosen. We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Picpoul Blanc (not yet producing), Syrah, Petite Sirah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Tannat.

We harvest the grapes at dawn, or earlier, and press them that day. The reds are fermented in the winery in open bins and are then aged in French oak barrels. The Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache Blanc are fermented in cooled steel tanks. At the time chosen to bottle, the wine is gravity fed into the bottling equipment. After bottling, the wine is aged at 55 degrees in our cellar until it can be enjoyed.
    Ten 55 Brewing
Small Batch Brewery catering to Tucson Arizona.
Ten Fifty-Five Brew Works was founded in 2011 by a couple of local Tucsonans, who share a few core beliefs. We'd like to share those with you.

So...we like beer, and we really like good beer. We want to put good beer in reach of those that want to enjoy it, and help nurture the developing brew culture in Tucson. We want to make beer for beer drinkers like us; adventurous beer drinkers that are just as likely to try something new as they are an old favorite. We are committed to the idea of the local nano-brewer; a small batch company using fresh ingredients and open minds to make some great tasting brew. Look for us soon, we'll be looking for you.

    Our four staples:
Sugar Skull Chocolate Milk Stout - Built on a solid milk stout recipe we'll be adding free trade Ecuadorian Cacao nibs and Tahitian vanilla. My grandmother loves this easy drinking stout.
Lazy Duck American Wheat - This crisp wheat beer is refreshingly light for its style, perfect for a hot Tucson summer. The use of torrified wheat makes for a dry, crackery finish.
Leap Pale Ale - This flagship brew will be a craft beer drinker’s favorite. This beer makes good use of flavorful American hop varieties, but is gentle enough to appeal to non-hop-heads.

Ten Fifty-Five Brewing is the brainchild of two friends who love beer and want you to love beer, too. Co-owners John Paul Vyborny and Chris Squires bonded over the idea that beer is more than something you drink—it’s a way of life. Intent on sharing their passion with the general public, the duo aims to provide inspired selections that wow connoisseurs and woo beginners while showing that craft brews are meant to be savored, celebrated and shared with family and friends. The result is a unique experience for both expert and amateur craft drinkers—creative concoctions in an unpretentious environment. Two Suns Citra IIPA - This brew is a hop-head’s dream! The Citra hop variety lends bright, tropical citrusy notes, and is well complemented by the rich, slightly sweet background. This is an all-around big beer, in every way.
