    How To Shop

Walk around the market to find delicious things that aren't always obvious. Bring a sturdy bag if you have one or purchase one of our beautiful canvas bags at the market! Ask questions and sample as most vendors let you sample before buying. Cash is accepted by all vendors. Some vendors accept credit cards. Purchase market tokens at the information booth with credit cards. Tokens do not expire and are good at any Heirloom Farmers Market.

    Mercado San Agustin
Our goal is to be a reflection of the community we love, Tucson. Our open air courtyard is lined with shops, restaurants and services that embody the Tucson vibe. Eat, drink, shop, relax & enjoy the many special events such as our Thursday afternoon farmers market and weekend brunch.

    Fostering local growth.

The mission of the MSA is to support local business entrepreneurs with a focus on local foods and artisan made goods. The Mercado San Agustin Philanthropic Fund was established to give back to the community. The fund offers a variety of opportunities including the support and education of aspiring entrepreneurs. Partnerships with like minded organizations like the Community Food Bank and MicroBuisness Advancement Center help further this goal. Our commercial kitchen plays a pivotal role in incubating business growth. For more info on our fund, please contact info@mercadosanagustin.com.

An old world ‘new’ facility. Green is good!

MSA was built in 2010 with a goal to conserve resources in our desert environment. MSA is posed to achieve LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold status from the United States Green Build Council. We hold ourselves to a higher design standard and have included water harvesting, solar panels and rastra block walls into our ‘desert’ smart design. MSA mixes modern green architecture with old world charm.

    Sustainable neighborhood & future plans.

Located within the newly developed Mercado District of Menlo Park and the future Mission District, the MSA has the benefit of being located in Tucson’s most beautiful new mixed-use transit oriented neighborhoods. With the Tucson Modern Streetcar stop just a few steps from our entrance, we are part of Tucson’s expanding city center. The builders of the Mercado District lovingly claim that they are building a future historic district. The Mission District future plans include dense mixed-use development that will offer mixing housing, retail and commercial spaces furthering the synergy of a downtown revival.

Rincon Valley Farmers' & Artisans' Market
Enjoy the beautiful scenery and discover a one-of-a-kind shopping experience featuring fruit, produce, eggs, and meat from local Arizona farmers, local raw honey, artisan breads, beautiful artwork, crafts, furniture, aprons, and more handcrafted by our Artisans.

The Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market is a project of the Rincon Institute, a non-profit organization that works to integrate community and conservation throughout the Rincon, Vail, and Tanque Verde valleys.
The Rincon Institute's mission is to protect the natural resources of the Rincon Mountain District of Saguaro National Park, the Rincon Valley and the Cienega Corridor.

The Market helps preserve the rural cultural heritage of our area by giving southern Arizona farmers a market for their goods, which helps preserve open space by keeping small farms in business, and offering an important community gathering. The market prides itself on providing local products, supporting local artisans and farmers, and partnering with the community. Supporting locally grown foods and locally produced crafts reduces the amount of non-renewable resources used in transporting non-local goods. Reducing the amount of energy we require supports environmental sustainability and overall protection of sensitive resources. The RVFM helps maintain the rural character of the Rincon Valley while supporting local artisans and farmers which makes it a natural fit for a conservation organization like the Rincon Institute.

The Sierra Vista Farmers Market operates a vibrant market that contributes to the success of local food growers and producers, strengthens our food economy, and provides citizens with a local alternative to corporate, globalized food production.

Shoppers have access to fresh, nutritious, locally raised food while forming positive personal connections with the hard-working ranchers, farmers, and other vendors who sell their goods at the market.

We offer a gathering place for residents and visitors to Sierra Vista to relax in a fun and educational environment.
